Carlos Jiménez Flores has been writing poetry since the age of fifteen, when he was asked to do so by his sophomore English teacher,
Ms. Johnetta Jones, at Wells High School in Chicago. He quickly found an outlet to express himself and he never stopped writing. He has published ten books of poetry to date and there are more to come.
