Carlos Jiménez Flores is the Founder, President and CEO. He began producing films the year prior. After two projects, he decided to form his own film production company. To date, Kachi Films has produced 10 films. Half of those have been distributed by Kachi Films. As a distribution company, Kachi Films made history September 2022 when it negotiated a theatrical release for the short film, 3000 (a biopic about Roberto Clemente written, directed, produced by Skip Font), at Caribbean Cinemas in Puerto Rico. 3000 is the only short film in Puerto Rico's history to be theatrically released.

El astro Boricua, Roberto Clemente, a ley de un solo hit para alcanzar la cifra de 3000, enfrenta al lanzador de los Mets de Nueva York, Jon Matlack. Durante su turno al bate, Roberto recuerda los momentos de sus comienzos cuando formaba parte del equipo, Cangrejeros de Santurce fundado por Pedrín Zorrilla.
Este cortometraje ha ganado premios en festivales como Mejor Cortometraje. También es el primer cortometraje en la historia que se estrena en cines en Puerto Rico a través de Caribbean Cinemas. 3000 es distribuida por Kachi Films y se está transmitiendo actualmente en Boricua Box.
